Welcome to Cothrom's new online learning resource, launched in 2010.  Cothrom is the community learning centre based on South Uist in the Outer Hebrides.  Cothrom is the Gaelic for 'opportunity'.  To find out more about Cothrom go to www.cothrom.net

We hope you will find the exercises in the first course -- on literacy -- useful.  The exercises will introduce you, through videos and exercises, to organisations and events on South and North Uist, and to Cothrom itself and the work of some of its students.

To do the exercises, you need to be enrolled on the literacy course.  Get in touch with enquiries@cothrom.net to do this.  When you have been enrolled, you can edit your profile and link with other students on the course.
